FAQ

Straight answers.

General

Are you a dealership?

No. We don’t buy, own or stock cars, and we don’t run a showroom. We market cars on behalf of their private owners and connect those owners with serious buyers.

Are the listed vehicles owned by you?

No. Every car on this site is owned by its registered private seller unless a listing explicitly says otherwise.

How does payment work?

The buyer pays the seller directly at the licensing department, when ownership is transferred. We never hold the money. If our work produced the sale, the seller pays our success fee at the transfer.

How do you protect the owner’s privacy?

We never publish an owner’s name or phone number. Every call and message goes to Car Match first. We only put a buyer in touch with the owner once the buyer is serious and the owner agrees, usually for a viewing.

For sellers

Do you buy my car?

No. You stay the owner until you sell it to a buyer. We never take ownership of your car.

Do I pay anything upfront?

No. There’s no upfront fee. Our fee is a success fee from 150 JOD, set by the car’s price, due only when our work produces the completed sale, under terms we agree with you in writing before we start.

Who keeps the car while it’s being marketed?

You do. It stays with you, in your name, until you complete the sale with a buyer.

When is the fee paid?

When the sale is completed, under the terms set out in the written agreement we make with you before marketing the car. If the car doesn’t sell, there is no fee.

What happens if my car doesn’t sell?

You owe us nothing. You can ask us to stop marketing it at any time; the written agreement sets out how that works.

Do you guarantee my car will sell?

No. We work to find a serious buyer at a fair price, but we can’t guarantee a sale, a price or a timeframe.

Who decides the final price?

You do. We can share what the market is asking for similar cars and pass on every offer, but the price is always your decision.

Can I reject an offer?

Yes. Any offer, at any time. You’re never obliged to accept an offer we pass on.

Can I keep advertising my car elsewhere?

We’ll agree this with you in writing before we start, so there are no surprises. Either way, tell us where else the car is listed so buyers get consistent information.

What cars do you accept?

Cars with a realistic asking price, a clear and legitimate ownership situation, enough information and usable photos, reasonable buyer demand, and an owner willing to disclose known problems. We don’t accept every car.

For buyers

Who receives the buyer’s money?

The registered owner, directly from the buyer. We never receive or hold the payment for a car.

Who completes the ownership transfer?

The buyer and the registered owner, through the official vehicle licensing process. We don’t perform ownership transfers.

Do you inspect the cars?

We review the information and photos the owner gives us, but we’re not an inspection centre and we don’t certify a car’s condition. We recommend every buyer arranges an independent inspection before buying.

Do you verify accident history?

Not independently. We ask the owner and show what they report — including anything that’s unknown. Please verify the car’s history and condition yourself before you buy.

Can I request an inspection?

Yes. Ask us. Where the owner agrees, we’ll help coordinate an independent inspection at a centre of your choice.

Can you help me find a specific car?

Yes. Tell us what you want on the “Find me a car” page. If a matching privately owned car comes in, we’ll contact you. We can’t promise we’ll find one.

Can you arrange financing?

No. We don’t offer or arrange financing. If you need finance, speak to a bank or licensed finance provider directly before you commit.

Do buyers pay you anything?

No. We don’t charge buyers. Our fee is agreed with the seller.
